Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Agent, Cross Functional to join our team. As a key member of our Ground Handling Department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers, airline partners, and other stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, operating the Jetway, monitoring computerized passenger boarding, and guiding/parking aircraft. Key Responsibilities

* Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience

  • Monitor computerized passenger boarding systems to ensure accurate and timely boarding
  • Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • Operate the Jetway, load and unload baggage and cargo, and operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
  • Guide and park aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient operations
  • Perform cabin maintenance tasks, including cleaning and preparing aircraft for departure
  • Work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives

Essential Qualifications and Competencies

* Successful completion of training course

  • Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous airline experience or employment as a front-line customer service provider

  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Work Environment

* Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels

  • Use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment
  • All shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts
  • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
  • Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly
  • Assist passengers with disabilities, including, but not limited to, pushing wheelchairs

Benefits and Compensation

* Competitive salary, benchmarked at $16.57/Hourly

  • Performance-based bonuses and relocation packages, subject to company policy and performance metrics
