A Day in the Life of a Claims Customer Care Specialist
As a Claims Customer Care Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers navigating the claims process. Your role will involve:
- Explaining the claim process to customers and addressing their concerns
- Building strong relationships with customers through empathetic and compassionate communication
- Providing accurate and timely information on claim status and resolving inquiries
- Processing claims payments and scheduling auto and/or property inspections
- Assisting with rental car arrangements and other customer needs
- Documenting all actions taken in the claim at every touchpoint
- Utilizing online resources and claims knowledge to assist customers with claims-related concerns
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferably in a call center environment)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new technology
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Bilingual and/or prior military experience is a plus
