Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing expert support to our clients who use accounting software. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software is essential for this role. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service via phone, resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshooting accounting software-related problems, including ledger entry, navigation, and other technical issues
- Assisting customers with bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
- Demonstrating a strong ownership of customer issues, taking control of the situation, and providing confident resolution
- Communicating with customers in a friendly tone and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive experience
- Collaborating with our team to resolve complex issues and provide innovative solutions

Requirements
To succeed as a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll need:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Bookkeeping/accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
- Customer service experience and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
- Strong ownership of customer issues, taking control of the situation, and providing confident resolution
- Tech savvy and avid computer user
- Ability to communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
