Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics)
Experience:
2+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or a related field
Key Responsibilities:
* Run exploratory data analysis to identify novel insights and opportunities
- Design and execute A/B tests of our latest recommendation algorithms
- Proactively monitor our recommendation models to identify potential issues, determine root causes, and resolve
- Develop new tools and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to drive business outcomes
- Communicate key findings and recommendations to cross-functional leaders across the organization
What You'll Need:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL (including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling)
- Proficiency in Python and Python libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib)
- Experience with exploratory data analysis (e.g., A/B testing, statistical modeling)
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., decision trees, random forests, deep learning)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Business acumen, scientific skills, and technical expertise, with critical thinking abilities
