Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our members, processing membership applications, and developing strategies to recruit new members. Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support, including answering/solutions to members, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, and managing member communications.
- Process membership applications, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data in Salesforce CRM.
- Assist with member communication activities, including calls, emails, and Zoom calls.
- Collect data, track membership statistics, report on key metrics, and prepare reports.
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members, leveraging your expertise in membership development and engagement.
- Coordinate with the finance department to track membership revenue and update reports.
- Prepare membership marketing materials, showcasing our brand and services.
- Coordinate current member service programs, including relationship building, onboarding, and engagement.
- Actively participate in crafting membership development strategy, including networking and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Assist programming staff at onsite and virtual membership-related events, supporting marketing and membership materials, and fielding member inquiries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
* Bachelor's Degree with at least two years related work experience in membership, with a preference given to those with association and/or nonprofit experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a solutions-based attitude, with a passion for delivering outstanding experiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally in teams, with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and membership/databases, with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Experience with Cvent, Canva, Sprout Social, and Salesforce, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
