Job Overview

As an Experienced IT Operations Manager – Work From Home Data Entry and Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing local and remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning the strategies to create that experience. You will work closely with our AWS IT Services Support team to provide highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide, covering all used client applications, operating systems, email, VPN, mobile devices, and common collaboration services such as SharePoint and Exchange.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage local and/or remote resources to support the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience

  • Own the strategies to create the perfect customer experience, working closely with the AWS IT Services Support team
  • Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
  • Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovation

Essential Qualifications

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

  • 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT operations manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a cloud-based environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
  • Strong understanding of data entry and support processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
