The CENTROID Data Science Team
Our Data Science team develops intelligent solutions to make data-driven decisions in Network transformation at arenaflex. We tackle complex problems, including Ambient and Perishable inbound network design, center mile network flow optimization, last mile transportation and returns design, stock placement and targets, and transportation and monetization strategies. Our work involves applying diverse strategies from operations research to classical machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, causal inference, and statistics. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Entering data accurately and efficiently into our systems
- Maintaining data quality and integrity
- Identifying and resolving data discrepancies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency
- Providing data insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data entry and management
Essential Qualifications
* Ph.D./M.S. in a quantitative field, including Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics, with up to ten years of relevant work experience
- Ability to leverage your thesis in Operations Research or Statistics or an equivalent quantitative area related to mathematical programming strategies, stochastic programming, or associated implemented disciples that heavily used operations research modeling
- Experience with one or more optimization toolkits/libraries, such as CPlex, Gurobi, XPressMP, or open-source solvers
- Strong software development skills in languages, including Python, and familiarity with machine learning libraries, such as Scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras. Data querying ability using SQL
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Established potential as a complete stack data scientist who develops, optimizes, and scales models for the manufacturing environment
- Established potential with optimization modeling strategies (Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, Non-Linear Programming) and advanced statistical modeling strategies (e.g., SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian inference, Graph models, NLP, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, etc.)
- Experience with solving complex stock/operations planning problems. Experience solving stochastic discrete optimization problems using a lot of heuristics, integer programming models, and/or simulation-based approaches
- Experience with Cloud technology, including GCP, Azure, and Spark, Hive, and TensorFlow, etc.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
Pay and Benefits
* Pay: $65 - $100 per hour
