Professional Legal Administrator at Texas Immigration Firm

The Law Office of Yohana Saucedo, with offices in Austin and Laredo, is looking for an Professional Legal Administrator with 5+ years of relevant experience to join their team in a hybrid or 100% remote role (but must be based in Texas with ability to travel to Austin and Laredo as needed). This is a senior operations leadership role overseeing all non-attorney staff and business functions of the firm. The Administrator acts as a de facto COO, reporting directly to the Owner. Key info about the role:
- Salary Range: $90K/year to $125K/year, depending on experience and demonstrated value, plus bonus structure.
- Work Location: Hybrid role in Austin or Laredo or 100% remote in Texas with ability to travel to Austin or Laredo as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience. Background in law firm management, HR, budgeting, and bookkeeping strongly preferred.
- Language: Strong preference for Spanish fluency/proficiency.

- Realistic Hours: 40-50 hours/week with emphasis on work-life balance.
- Start Date: As soon as possible (with the understanding that currently employed candidates will need to give notice).
- What You Will Accomplish: You will focus on revenue growth, profitability improvement, and creating a strong organizational culture and team performance.
Your Core Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy
- Operations: Collaborate with the Owner to build the annual business plan, budget, and strategic calendar. Lead planning sessions, manage staffing/facilities plans, and run firm-wide leadership meetings including performance reviews and goal-setting.
- Human Resources: Manage (or supervise) all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, policy development, employee records, and compliance with bar regulations for legal staff.
- Business Systems: Drive creation and continuous improvement of firm-wide systems covering marketing, intake, legal workflow, billing, finance, risk, and facilities.
- Financial Oversight: Work with the CFO/Controller to manage budgeting, financial reporting, and corrective action recommendations to the Owner.
- Workflow: Monitor case flow and pipeline efficiency, consulting with the Managing Attorney to maintain legal, ethical, and profitability standards.
