Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist and Typist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Accurately typing reports, managing files, and ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and accessible to the team
• Providing essential administrative support to ensure seamless operations
• Managing and organizing typing materials effectively
• Creating spreadsheets and presentations by combining data from existing files
• Maintaining both physical and digital filing systems
• Scanning and printing files as needed
• Upholding confidentiality in accordance with security policies
• Transcribing documents from dictated recordings
• Taking detailed notes during meetings and creating clear, organized texts
• Editing completed work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Typist, Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Operator
• Fast typing skills; proficiency in touch typing is a plus
• Familiarity with data recorders and optical scanners
• Strong knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
• Proficiency with office equipment
• Excellent command of the English language
• Attention to detail with the ability to spot grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
• Commitment to confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications
