The Opportunity
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, resolving their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. You'll work in a high-volume, customer service environment, where you'll need to be efficient, productive, and thorough in your interactions with our members. You'll also have the flexibility to work remotely from the comfort of your own home, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.
Primary Responsibilities
* Call members to schedule in-home visits with a Physician or a Nurse Practitioner
- Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries
- Ensure that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns
- Work in a high-volume, customer service environment, where you'll need to be efficient, productive, and thorough in your interactions with our members
- Collaborate with our team to resolve customer issues and concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our members feel valued and supported
Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year of work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00 am - 5:30 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare
- Experience working in a customer retention-focused role
Telecommuting Requirements
* Reside within EST or CST
- Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
- Must be able to connect directly into the internet via a hard wire (either directly to the modem or router)
Soft Skills
* Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens
- Experience working in a metric-driven work environment
- Experience using an auto-dialer system
- All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy
Compensation and Benefits
* The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment
- Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
- arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable
