B2B Email Marketing Systems Technician (Clinical Research, Contract)
Job Summary Investigator Support Services (ISS) partners with clinical research sites, healthcare organizations, Sponsors, and CROs across North America to support clinical trial feasibility and site identification initiatives. We are seeking a B2B Email Marketing Automation Technician to support campaign execution, list operations, CRM workflows, and marketing systems management. This is a hands-on execution role for a long-term remote contract opportunity requiring approximately 10–15 hours per week. Important

Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Campaign Operations
- Build, launch, monitor, and optimize targeted B2B outbound email campaigns
- Configure campaign workflows, sequencing logic, triggers, personalization, and A/B testing
- Manage day-to-day campaign execution across CRM, outreach automation, and marketing systems
- Coordinate deployment timelines and ensure campaigns execute accurately and efficiently
- Monitor campaign performance including deliverability, reply rates, engagement, and conversion quality
- Troubleshoot campaign, workflow, syncing, and automation issues
- Maintain organized and scalable campaign infrastructure across platforms
- Assist with workflow improvements, automation optimization, and operational scalability
CRM, Automation & Systems Management
- Support CRM data syncing, lead routing, tagging, segmentation, and workflow automation
- Manage integrations between CRM, outreach automation, enrichment, and marketing systems
- Configure and maintain operational workflows across multiple platforms
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, sync issues, and workflow failures
- Maintain clean CRM architecture and campaign-ready datasets
List Development & Data Operations
- Source and build targeted prospect lists within clinical research and life sciences
- Segment audiences including Sponsors, CROs, research sites, healthcare systems, and investigators
- Clean, validate, enrich, deduplicate, normalize, and organize prospect databases
- Prepare lists for campaign deployment and reporting
- Manage large CSV and spreadsheet datasets with high accuracy
Qualifications 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in:
- B2B email marketing operations
- Marketing automation
- CRM management
- Campaign execution
- Data operations
· Advanced technical skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel required
- Power Query for cleaning, transforming, merging, and deduplicating large datasets
- Advanced sorting, filtering, segmentation, and data normalization skills
- Ability to manage large CSV and spreadsheet datasets with high accuracy
- Pivot Tables with Power Pivot and Power BI
Experience in clinical research, CROs, life sciences, or healthcare services strongly preferred Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour Application Question(s):
