Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in West Virginia. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. Your primary goal will be to assist with an array of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience and has the skills and expertise to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering inbound calls from members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
  • Providing accurate and timely information to customers, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted).
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Working from home, with occasional visits to our office in Charleston, WV when necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form.
  • Ability to work from home and be self-sufficient.
  • Ability to commute to the office in Charleston, WV when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems.
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience working remotely in a call center setting.
  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.15 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
