Job Description

This is a remote position. SBA Solutions is seeking experienced and certified professionals to perform translation, interpretation, and transcription services in various languages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating and interpreting various documents and audio/video files, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication across multiple languages. We are in search of 8-10 people for this position and are looking for a diverse team that will provide full coverage for the languages required. Languages required:

• Spanish
• Portuguese
• Arabic
• Swahili
• Nepali
• French
• Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
• German
• Vietnamese
• Russian

Responsibilities

• Document Translation: Accurately translate written words from source language to target language while retaining the original message, including translations from audio or video files.
• Interpretation: Facilitate oral or sign-language communication between users of different languages, either simultaneously or consecutively. Ensure all elements and intentions of the message are conveyed clearly and accurately.
• Oral Translation: Provide verbal translation of written documents from source language to target language.
• Translated Transcription: Create accurate written copies of spoken words and translate them into the target language.
• Voice-Over Interpretation: Orally interpret and record narration from audio or video files, delivering translations in the target language.

Requirements

• Experience translating program flyers, applications, surveys, and policies.
• Ability to translate documents into the most commonly spoken top three languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.
• Must be able to meet on-demand requests with flexible hours, including evening and weekend assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified translator/interpreter with proven expertise in any of the required languages.
• Strong command of both source and target languages.
• Previous experience in document translation, transcription, interpretation, and voice-over services.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials with discretion.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience in translation or interpretation is a required
