Role Overview

As an Online Chat Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing prompt and professional responses to guest inquiries via live chat. You'll assist guests with reservation modifications and cancellations, resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy and effective problem-solving strategies, and provide information about hotel services, policies, and local attractions. You'll also document guest interactions and maintain accurate records in the system, work collaboratively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction, and stay informed about hotel promotions and offerings to effectively assist guests.

Responsibilities

* Provide prompt and professional responses to guest inquiries via live chat, ensuring a positive experience for all customers

  • Assist guests with reservation modifications and cancellations, resolving any issues that may arise
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy and effective problem-solving strategies, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide information about hotel services, policies, and local attractions, helping guests make informed decisions
  • Document guest interactions and maintain accurate records in the system, ensuring seamless communication between departments
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction, providing a unified and exceptional experience
  • Stay informed about hotel promotions and offerings to effectively assist guests and provide personalized recommendations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or customer service related field preferred

  • Proven experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a remote setting
  • Excellent written communication skills with a professional tone, ensuring clear and concise communication with guests
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, making decisions and taking action in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with live chat software and CRM tools is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
