Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Financial Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing account transfers, performing alphanumeric data entry, and verifying data accuracy. Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Performing alphanumeric data entry from various source documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Verifying data accuracy by comparing with original documents or re-entering in verification format to identify discrepancies
- Compiling, sorting, and validating data before entry to maintain quality standards
- Identifying and correcting data entry errors, or escalating them to supervisors as needed
- Maintaining detailed logs of data entry activities and completed tasks for tracking and audit purposes
- Entering information from source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills into designated data fields
- Managing high-volume data entry tasks efficiently, with a focus on meeting production targets
- Utilizing spreadsheet and database software to manage data and perform required tasks
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Experience working in the financial industry, preferably in a wealth management firm
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and 10-Key
