Job Description
As a Remote Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home, providing support to our clients through live online chats. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
- Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to Online Chat Manager when appropriate
- Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
- Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
- Promoting interest in client products and services
- Consistently achieving established standards of the position
- Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
- Providing administrative support to the customer service team
- May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or online environment
- Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools and software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:
- Experience working with online chat software and platforms
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and systems
- Experience in a similar role or industry
- Certification in customer service or a related field
