Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Experience Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing expert advice and guidance to help them plan and execute their dream vacations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, planning, and executing travel sales, including airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, tickets/events, and activities
- Processing payments on behalf of clients
- Providing all necessary documents to clients before and after travel
- Delivering exceptional customer service to clients
- Maintaining relationships with travel partners and vendors
- Working well in a group/team setting
- Staying up-to-date on the travel industry and policies
- Completing required certification within a timely manner
- Completing ongoing training with our company and travel partners
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and execute travel sales, including: + Airline reservations + Car rental bookings + Cruise itinerary planning + Hotel reservations + Ticket and event bookings + Activity planning
- Process payments on behalf of clients, ensuring accurate and timely transactions
- Provide all necessary documents to clients, including:
+ Travel itineraries + Hotel confirmations + Flight tickets + Travel insurance documents
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain relationships with travel partners and vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Work well in a group/team setting, contributing to a positive and productive team environment
- Stay up-to-date on the travel industry and policies, attending training sessions and workshops as required
- Complete required certification within a timely manner, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Complete ongoing training with our company and travel partners, expanding your knowledge and skills in the travel industry
Essential Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older, and a resident of the United States
- Must have a smartphone and/or computer, with reliable internet access
- Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively
- Ability to make travel and event recommendations based on clients' interests
- Ability to manage time and be organized
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer and internet knowledge
- Personal travel experience is not required but will be considered an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in the travel industry, preferably in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of travel industry software and systems
- Certification in travel industry-related fields, such as ARC, IATA, or CLIA
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, French, or Mandarin
