Job Description

As a Part-Time Remote Typist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data entry tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to enter and update data in our systems, maintaining the highest level of precision and attention to detail. You'll also assist with various clerical tasks, including organizing files, maintaining records, and ensuring that all data is inputted correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Input, update, and maintain data in various databases and systems with a high degree of precision and accuracy.

  • Perform accurate typing and data entry tasks with a high degree of speed and efficiency.
  • Review and verify data to ensure consistency and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
  • Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed, including organizing files and maintaining records.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, working independently and collaboratively as required.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry is a plus.

  • Proven experience in typing/data entry or administrative support, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent typing speed (50+ words per minute) and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup, with good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Docs/Sheets, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
