Job Summary
We're looking for a seasoned leader who can drive strategic initiatives, foster collaboration, and inspire innovation across our organization. As a Director of Strategy - Customer Experience, you'll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, developing and implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
* Partner with senior leaders across arenaflex to identify areas of key organizational focus and develop strategic plans to address those opportunities.
- Lead multiple project teams to drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers and Analysts to develop, staff, pilot, and implement process improvements within our stores.
- Develop and implement project work flows and roll-out schedules to ensure timely and effective execution.
- Measure the impact of changes and new projects on operational areas and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Partner with Field Implementation Managers to establish project metrics and tollgates to ensure successful implementation.
- Utilize expertise in strategic thinking and process design to drive successful improvements in operational areas, focusing on quick implementation and quick return on investment.
- Evaluate needs of multiple project requests and impact on operational areas, aggregating data gathered by Operations Analysts to ensure project needs are met.
- Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff to achieve exceptional results.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports
* Direct and indirect reports typically include 5 professionals and 14 support associates.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
- Faces situations with various interpretations and requires careful evaluation.
- Considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems.
- Provides infrequent status reports to management as appropriate.
Travel Requirements
* Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements
* Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about.
- Rarely requires moving or lifting light articles.
Working Conditions
* Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from dust, fumes, or odors.
- Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas, and/or deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
Minimum Qualifications
* Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
* 10+ years of prior experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or other strategic roles.
- Experience in applying research findings to the retail environment.
- History of promotion/advancement.
- Advanced degree preferred; MBA preferred.

* The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
