Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Customer Service Associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direction and guidance to Customer Service Associates to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding and compliance with arenaflex's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
- Processing customers at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system
- Processing customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines
- Opening and closing registers
- Following established cash, check, and charge card acceptance procedures
- Answering the telephone according to accepted guidelines
- Stocking and tagging merchandise displays as required
- Creating price tags and merchandise signs
- Reviewing and assessing the performance of associates on a timely basis
- Training, developing, and supervising associates
- Monitoring associate retention and career development; communicating ideas to the General Manager
- Addressing and documenting unsatisfactory performance and policy violations of associates through administration of disciplinary action and performance counseling
- Ensuring compliance to scheduling, hiring, payroll, and business planning processes
- Monitoring, maintaining, and following company policies; supporting company expectations and systems
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:
- One year of customer service/cashier supervisory experience and proven ability to direct operations
- Ability to perform in a high-volume, highly complex location
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
- Demonstrated proficiency in training associates
- Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and analytical skills
- Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in supervising a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency
