Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business growth through exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: Lead by example, provide guidance and support to your team members, and help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: Ensure that your team is working safely, efficiently, and effectively, and that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.
• Collaborate with all support teams: Work closely with our Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop plans and strategies that meet our business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: Be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, including during peak periods.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels.
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: Be able to work in a variety of temperature and weather conditions, including outside loading departments.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs): Be able to climb and descend stairs safely and efficiently.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role: Experience in a leadership or management role is preferred, but not required.
