The Opportunity:
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient experiences by providing timely and effective resolution to customer inquiries, concerns, and issues. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service, while also meeting our collection goals and departmental objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer patient questions regarding statements, posting guarantor payments, and setting up payment plans within our policies - Research and resolve issues with accounts that have been identified by patients - Reach out to appropriate departments to resolve any requests made by patients - Connect patients with financial counseling department for charity screening - Communicate patient balances and meet collection goals as set by department - Provide excellent customer service for all of our patients - Collaborate with other areas of arenaflex and Revenue Cycle to resolve customer service issues - Perform other duties as assigned
Employment Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry - High School Diploma or GED - Ensemble Associate to obtain CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (employer-funded)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations - Customer Service and Call Center experience - Critical Thinking and Problem Resolution skills
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
