Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development

The Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be a key member of our Information Designing team, which sits at the heart of building an information ecosystem that drives our understanding and decision-making about the impact of advertising on our business. You'll work closely with our Promotions team to design and implement rich, connected, and easily accessible information about ad inventories, targeting, and more. This information will be used across various business areas and capabilities, from educational analysis to feature development for statistical models.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement core information models that our Promotions capabilities use to address business questions
- Collaborate with partners to identify needs, model tables using programming and data warehouse best practices, and develop information pipelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality information
- Work with Examination Architects, Information Researchers, and Computer Programmers to create data indexes that will serve analysis and reporting needs intuitively
- Develop recommended procedures for the management of data indexes with sensitive data
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with data researchers, analysis specialists, and AI experts
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building data pipelines and data modeling
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data transformation for both batch and streaming data
- Experience with large-scale data technologies, including Hadoop, Flash, Pig, Hive, Voila, and more
- Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL and Python
- Experience with obtaining and displaying data from application APIs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Certification in data engineering or related field
