Responsibilities
As an E-Service Chat Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, contractors, and business partners via inbound and outbound telephone calls, written correspondence, and/or electronic communication. Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting customers, contractors, and/or business partners with their inquiries, concerns, and issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Explaining and upholding contract coverage to customers and/or contractors
- Following up with customers, contractors, and/or business partners to ensure customer service issues are resolved
- Maintaining current knowledge of all policies, procedures, programs, and completing required continuing education courses
- May assume other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote setting
- Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be on video call as required during working hours
Preferred Skills
While not required, the following skills are highly desirable:
- Customer service experience and/or training
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Essential Functions
As an E-Service Chat Representative, you will be expected to:
- Work in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Use video conferencing software to communicate with customers and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Compensation and Benefits

- Hourly rate between $15 to $17, depending on skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location
