Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced full stack data analyst to join our team in Santa Monica, USA. As a key member of our Immediate to Buyer Item and Tech Examination group, you'll be responsible for supporting business growth through data analysis, investigation, and knowledge sharing. Your expertise will help us answer critical questions, identify trends, and develop recommendations to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Construct comprehensive analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Answer business questions and provide expert insights on various trade streams on D+ and Hulu to enhance customer experience and drive conversions
- Develop and advance the analytical capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of demonstrative solutions, and deliver exceptional data experiences and products
- Utilize data representation tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Apply statistical and inferential methods (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Component Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst in an information and analytics space with exceptional SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with large datasets
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end analysis projects: from unclear requirements to successful storytelling, open across diverse audiences, and ultimately to a tangible business outcome
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and technical partners
- Ability to present to senior leadership and communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly)
- Knowledge of marketing funnels, join pipes, and trade spaces
- Ability to identify and effectively escalate issues to leadership
- Counseling or MBA background, or other multi-industry experience
- Strong inspiration and ability to work independently
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Awareness of humor and ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
