Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of arenaflex's GIS infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Data Entry and Management: Accurately and efficiently enter, edit, and manage GIS feature data, both in a geodatabase environment and on the cloud.
• Cartographic Design: Create high-quality maps and visualizations using Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• GIS Analysis and Development: Apply geospatial analysis methods and ESRI GIS applications development to support arenaflex's data-driven initiatives.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and high-quality results.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to arenaflex staff on GIS-related tools and applications.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Earth Science, Data Science, or a related field: A degree in a relevant field, such as GIS, geography, or data science, is essential for this role.
• 2+ Years of Relevant Work Experience: You'll need at least 2 years of experience in a related field, such as GIS, data management, or cartographic design.
• Proficiency in Esri Software: You'll need to be proficient in Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: You'll need to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You'll need to have excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Working Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Avenza MAPublisher: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Avenza MAPublisher would be an asset in this role.
• Working Knowledge of Arcade and/or JavaScript Programming: Familiarity with Arcade and/or JavaScript programming for GIS applications and API's integration would be highly valued.
