Job Description

As a Content & Repertoire Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for preparing music data for release with our record labels, music publishing, and distribution sites. Your primary duties will include:

• Assisting with adding appropriate credits for songs, ensuring accurate metadata and proofreading packaging for placement
• Transcribing, reviewing, editing, and adding lyrics to our music repertoire system
• Assisting in adding all necessary information for music publishing, utilizing Harry Fox Agency and various Performance Rights Society databases
• Creating, assigning, and placing ISRC codes for each song in the repertoire system
• Placing and reviewing credits on preliminary and final album packaging artwork

Key Responsibilities:

* Data entry and management for music releases, including credits, lyrics, and metadata

• Collaboration with record labels, music publishing, and distribution sites to ensure accurate and timely data entry
• Utilization of Harry Fox Agency and Performance Rights Society databases for music publishing purposes
• Creation and assignment of ISRC codes for each song in the repertoire system
• Review and placement of credits on album packaging artwork

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in data entry, preferably in the music industry

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with music industry terminology and concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with music publishing and distribution platforms

• Knowledge of ISRC codes and their application in the music industry
• Familiarity with Harry Fox Agency and Performance Rights Society databases
• Certification in data entry or a related field
