Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Associate, you'll be responsible for engaging with our community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos. Your primary goal will be to provide an exceptional user experience, ensuring that every interaction is positive, helpful, and delightful. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing product information, troubleshooting, and technical support to users
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer pain points
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on platform features and best practices
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and feedback

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are some of the essential requirements:

  • 1 year of relevant customer-facing work experience: We're looking for individuals with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2 Year Associate's Degree or 4 Year College Degree: A degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or customer service, is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: You'll need to be able to articulate complex information in a clear, concise manner, both in writing and over the phone.
  • Experience in chat support preferred: While not required, experience with chat platforms like Intercom or other similar tools is a plus.
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations: You'll need to be able to remain calm and empathetic when dealing with frustrated or upset customers.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities: Our platform is constantly evolving, and you'll need to be able to pivot quickly to meet changing customer needs.
  • A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed: We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer support and are eager to learn and grow with our company.

  • Knowledge of veterinary industry: Familiarity with the veterinary industry and its unique challenges and opportunities is a plus.
