About the Role
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily administration of the 401(k) plan and other benefits plans. You will work with the team to identify opportunities to improve and streamline our processes, simplify, and beautify our plans, and assist our associates in understanding and engaging with their financial benefits. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial wellbeing of our associates and providing them with the tools and resources needed to reach their long-term financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Works with senior leadership team and legal counsel to ensure accurate procedures are in place to maintain compliance with 401(k) associated regulations by researching pending law and changes to laws; managing enrollment requests within allocated time frame; developing, organizing, and facilitating process training to ensure procedures are compliant; participating with internal and external stakeholders to roll out and communicate community procedures, communication materials, and resources to the team; supporting with escalated calls associated with appeals cases; writing and responding to service inquiries from customers; and developing, monitoring, and reporting outcomes to management.
- Manages third-party administrators (TPAs) by researching and benchmarking new TPAs and business partners; providing analytical support and recommendations to senior management to make plan design decisions; undertaking on-site visits and audits; working with TPA contacts to ensure service and financial goals are met according to contractual agreement; maintaining open lines of communication with TPAs; translating requirements to ensure proper interpretation and benefits administration; providing education and training to TPAs; reviewing and approving third-party and supplemental plan communications; and regularly reviewing and recommending upgrades to multiple benefits systems.
- Manages digital eligibility files and discrepancies for all benefits plans to ensure they are administered and achieved in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations by researching and decoding new and changing rules; determining needed system and procedure solutions to conform with new requirements; resolving identified problems based on file information; collaborating with providers to make necessary adjustments; and creating and enforcing necessary reporting and controls around business strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develops project plans and leads business customers through the project management system by determining needed changes and report requirements; ensuring adoption of changes and report requirements; creating communication plans to announce project strategies to leadership, project team, and stakeholders; working with the business unit and project team to determine project approval parameters; and managing the approval process for project parameter changes.
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing professional advice and guidance to others in the application of data and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for views and rationales.
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary strategies and practices; monitoring progress and outcomes; recognizing and capitalizing on growth opportunities; and adapting to competing needs, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports business project, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door policy; and demonstrating and assisting others in how to apply these in executing business strategies and practices.
Essential Qualifications
* Familiarity with balancing multiple tasks concurrently and the agility to re-prioritize tasks as required.
- Project management experience, including data analysis, market research, and benefits program design.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to improve applications, procedures, and outcomes.
- Excellent listening skills, critical thinking abilities, and answer-articulation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, some knowledge of statistical analysis, and comfort working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of 401(k) plans or other retirement plans.
