We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Counselor to join our Digital Products, Data Analytics & Intellectual Property team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic guidance and support to our business leaders and stakeholders on various legal matters, including intellectual property, data analytics, and digital products. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and innovation while minimizing risk.Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert counsel and guidance to business leaders and stakeholders on various legal matters, including intellectual property, data analytics, and digital products.
- Develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and innovation while minimizing risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new digital products and services.
- Work closely with our data analytics team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in intellectual property law and data analytics, and apply this knowledge to provide strategic guidance to our business leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support our business objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to our team members on intellectual property law and data analytics.
Work Liabilities
- Use your knowledge of intellectual property law to provide strategic guidance to our business leaders and stakeholders.
- Audit and prepare official documents for presentation to the board of directors to ensure accurate expression of the legal content.
- May receive specific direction from the board or senior legal experts regarding the outcomes, process, and timelines anticipated.
- Collaborate with the specialty units you serve to achieve corporate objectives and minimize unnecessary business risk.
- Research legal standards and precedents, connect with and manage external counsel, draft official documents, collect relevant case-related data using multiple sources and techniques, provide work direction to other professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff in developing solutions to issues presented.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in intellectual property law and data analytics, and apply this knowledge to provide strategic guidance to our business leaders and stakeholders.

- Juris Doctorate from a licensed graduate school and at least 5 years of post-bar lawyer legal work experience in a mix of law firm and corporate settings.
- Required licensure to provide legal counsel in at least one state.
- Required Illinois bar enrollment or active bar participation on favorable terms in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/scheduling and tracking details and meeting deadlines of various tasks with changing completion dates.
- At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership.
