Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Remote Customer Technical Support Specialist to join our team, providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our residential and small business customers. As a key member of our Customer Technical Support Team, you'll be responsible for resolving technical issues, troubleshooting software and hardware, and providing patient assistance and support to our customers. If you're a problem-solver with a passion for customer service and a knack for multitasking, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to residential and small business customers via phone, email, and chat

  • Troubleshoot technical issues using guided workflows and troubleshooting steps
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of arenaflex products and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve technical skills and customer service abilities
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required
  • Technical experience a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to empathize and connect with customers
  • Proficient in computer applications and software
  • Ability to type at least 35 wpm

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with home security and automation systems

  • Knowledge of technical troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or technical support

What We Offer

* Competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour, increasing to $20.00 per hour after 180 days of employment
