Key Responsibilities
As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Representative - Ticket & Gate Operations, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Customer Service (Ticket & Gate) team, ensuring that our customers receive world-class service
- Demonstrating strict adherence to uniform compliance, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting a positive attitude inside and outside of work
- Greeting customers, guiding, and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process
- Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets
- Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel
- Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts
- Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
- Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding
- Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking, and handling baggage
- Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
- Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds
- Be authorized to live and work in the country you are applying to
- Possess entry-level computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
- Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be fluent, both written and orally, in English
- Must be fluent, both written and orally, in Spanish
