Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting customers and providing a warm and welcoming experience
- Running the register, cashiering, and making purchase suggestions to drive sales growth
- Working with our food program to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
- Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure seamless customer service
- Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Working collaboratively with a fun and energetic team to accomplish daily tasks and goals
- Providing excellent customer care, communication, and friendly conversation to drive customer satisfaction
- Performing at a quick pace while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Coming up with creative solutions to problems and thinking on your feet to provide exceptional customer service
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Sales and marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and increasing customer engagement
- Experience working with a variety of customers, including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, with occasional lifting and carrying of up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending, twisting, and grasping
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
