Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Initiating conversations with customers, discussing their plans, and suggesting products that meet their needs
- Providing customer service that exceeds expectations, ensuring our customers feel valued and supported
- Maintaining assigned areas stocked, clean, and secure, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers
- Utilizing teamwork with management and colleagues to achieve sales targets
- Processing customer transactions using our POS system
- Following guidelines for handling customer refunds and exchanges
- Adhering to standard practices for accepting payment through cash, checks, and credit cards
- Developing pricing labels and promotional displays, managing stocks, labeling, and showcasing products
- Demonstrating and validating compliance with company safety protocols
- Answering calls and taking messages in accordance with company guidelines
- Assisting in any department of the store as needed
- Achieving excellence in a fast-paced environment with precision
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years old
- Basic math competency
- Prior experience in customer support
- Ability to multitask efficiently and deliver excellent results in stressful situations
- Forklift certification (specific job positions may require this)
- Ability to pass a drug test before obtaining certification for heavy equipment operation
Physical/Sensory Requirements
This role requires:
- Physical strength to exert force ranging from 30 to 60 pounds occasionally or 20 to 30 pounds frequently to transport or manipulate objects
- Manipulating and feeling objects using hands and fingers
- Repeated activities that demand physical exertion, such as standing, walking, reaching, balancing, or climbing
