About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, responding to inbound and outbound calls, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that every customer interaction is a positive one, and that our customers feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional support to our customers

  • Initiate outbound calls to follow up with previous contacts and respond to inquiries
  • Respond to all inquiries in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, with a focus on public service and understanding the needs of our customers
  • Perform support ticket transaction resolution tasks and administrative functions
  • Create and maintain excellent documentation of all calls, questions, complaints, and mailed inquiries
  • Maintain adequate records/documentation for audit and internal control purposes
  • Route mail, email, and other administrative support duties as assigned
  • Develop a working knowledge of our operating platforms and program rules to ensure ability to respond to customer service inquiries

Required Skills

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to work with persons with disabilities
  • Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word preferred

Qualifications

* High school degree or equivalent required

  • 6-month call center experience preferred; or 1-year customer service experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is required
