Key Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Customer Care Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Own the interaction with callers: Deliver outstanding service to build loyalty, improve retention, and satisfy corporate best-in-service goals and objectives.
  • Respond to a high volume of incoming calls: Handle a high volume of calls from members and providers, with the ability to take calls in both Spanish and English.
  • Utilize appropriate resource materials: Effectively and accurately interpret, respond, and resolve customer inquiries and problems using resource materials.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Plan contracts: Stay up-to-date on Plan contracts and effectively interpret information to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Employ strong interpersonal skills: Handle difficult calls courteously and professionally, using strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Document calls in accordance with departmental policies: Accurately document calls to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with team members.
  • Work with peers to solve problems and promote teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Meet or exceed departments quality and productivity goals: Strive for excellence in your work, meeting or exceeding quality and productivity standards.

  • Prior professional work experience: Prior professional work experience, ideally in customer service, is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability and comfort level working from home: Demonstrate the ability and comfort level working from home, with access to a high-speed internet connection.
  • Regular and reliable attendance: Possess regular and reliable attendance, with the ability to work overtime during peak periods.
