Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support. You'll be responsible for handling phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving complex issues related to specialty mail order pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, responding to their inquiries and resolving complex issues related to specialty mail order pharmacy services
- Handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and updating patient information, confirming insurance coverage, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pharmacy, insurance, and medical staff, to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient requests
- Utilize Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and email, to manage patient information and communicate with patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex policies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- One year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and email
- One year of experience with keyboarding, typing, and data entry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of patient calls and requests
Preferred Qualifications
* Medical experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology, insurance, and pharmacy practices
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with patients and healthcare providers in multiple languages
