About the Role:
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist on our American Express team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Credit & Fraud Risk Finance group. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, data-driven insights and forecasts that inform strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Collections, Marketing, and Finance, to drive strategic projects and inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain deep analytics through leveraging advanced methodologies in forecasting approaches
- Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders
- Design and implement data visualizations to communicate complex information effectively
- Partner with senior leaders, including Chief Credit Officers and Finance LFO, to drive business outcomes and meet growth targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and risk management
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, risk management, or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, data-driven insights and forecasts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior leaders
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with risk management principles and practices

- Experience working with large datasets and advanced data analysis tools, such as Python or R
