Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers through email and chat support channels
- Advancing and selling air travel to the traveling public or cargo forwarders
- Furnishing help with traveler registration and freight acknowledgment
- Deciphering government rules and requirements for domestic and international travel or freight shipments
- Meeting and dispatching aircraft within established times
- Providing help to distressed travelers and customers
- Safeguarding organization property and income
- Accommodating safe travel
- Utilizing hierarchical skills to perform different tasks within a limited time frame
- Being self-motivated and requiring minimal oversight
- Answering and helping during security and crisis situations
- Following internal/external policies and procedures
- May be required to drive and work air steps up to different types of aircraft to enplane and deplane travelers
- Liable for the overall performance within the workspace and may be required to lead and direct the work of other representatives
- May be required to perform Traveler Activity Control capabilities, including air to ground correspondence, along with Peak capabilities
Requirements for Success
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree and relevant professional training
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas
- A valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- The ability to satisfy FAA criminal background checks to meet requirements for unescorted access awards to airport security identification presentation areas (SIDA), if applicable
- The ability to obtain proper airport power or US Customs security identifications, if applicable
- The ability to work sporadic and extended hours, including weekends and holidays
- The ability to answer to manage a regular and timely basis
