The Autopilot Information Explanation Group

The Autopilot Information Explanation Group is a critical component of arenaflex's Autopilot system, responsible for annotating images, videos, and other camera data to train the brain networks and serve as the ground truth for Autopilot's artificial intelligence. This group works closely with design teams to launch client-facing releases, ensuring that precise information commentary is a top priority for Tesla to achieve full self-driving.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Annotation Supervisor, you will lead a team of Information Explanation Experts, responsible for annotating 3D and image data for brain network training. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Directing continuous execution management in the team: creating training plans, tracking progress, and completing monthly expert and lead performance reports.
• Assessing daily execution in proprietary software, reporting daily summaries and team metrics.
• Working closely with designers and Autopilot authorities to own explanation approaches that require a deep understanding of both technical and functional imperatives.
• Having a strong understanding of project rules to convey naming ideas effectively, identifying shortcomings, and assisting with creating documentation and training materials.
• Executing appropriate headcount distribution between Quality Control, Naming, and focus on work lines daily, as coordinated by leadership.
• Ensuring documentation and daily planning for the team is precise and consistently updated.
• Other administrative responsibilities, such as employee development, conducting bi-annual performance reviews, and monthly performance registrations with Group Leads and Information Explanation Subject Matter Experts.
• Recognizing employees on a monthly basis who consistently exceed expectations.
• Tutoring direct reports and ensuring the team functions as a cohesive unit.
• Precisely managing timekeeping and attendance through the Kronos system.

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks by order of priority and completing them in a timely manner.
• Commitment to information accuracy and throughput.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to rapidly learn new systems.
• Demonstrated history of executing and fulfilling tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple competing projects with limited resources.
• Strong communication and presentation skills – able to explain complex subjects and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in standard workflow software (JIRA, Success, etc.).
