Job Summary

As an Experienced Slope Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of aircraft on the ground, handling cargo and baggage, and ensuring the smooth operation of our ground tasks. You will work closely with other team members to meet flight departure schedules, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, colleagues, and other stakeholders

• Coordinate the movement of aircraft on the ground, including loading and unloading cargo and baggage
• Ensure the smooth operation of ground tasks, including fueling, cleaning, and maintenance of aircraft
• Work closely with other team members to meet flight departure schedules and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our ground tasks
• Handle cargo and baggage, including loading, unloading, and transporting to and from aircraft
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including freight and baggage manifests
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including working in confined or high places, and using manual labor equipment such as belt loaders and air start units

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; no prior experience necessary

• Valid state driver's license required
• Ability to obtain a SIDA identification and meet all local airport requirements
• Ability to lift and move objects of 70 pounds, and frequently lift loads of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, creep, and twist consistently and for extended periods
• Ability to work in confined or high places
• Ability to convey heavy objects up and down jetway steps
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent changes in schedule and priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a similar role or industry

• Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
• Familiarity with manual labor equipment, such as belt loaders and air start units
• Ability to speak multiple languages
• Experience working in a team environment
