Job Summary

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights and recommendations to our sales teams, customer success consultants, and corporate travel managers. You will work closely with our account managers to develop sales strategies, tactics, and proposals that drive business growth. Your expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and sales analytics will help us optimize our sales processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver customer insights and recommendations through data analysis, business intelligence, and sales analytics

  • Work seamlessly with account managers and customer success consultants to develop sales strategies, tactics, and proposals
  • Actively participate in customer meetings to understand customer needs, present proposals, and collaborate on sales opportunities and targets
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights, presentable findings, and recommendations to drive business growth
  • Use technical skills (SQL, Alteryx, etc.) and business acumen to provide solutions to business requests and proactively identify new opportunities
  • Provide research and analysis of trends, and the development of new processes, tools, and reports to support expanded sales from corporate accounts and improved performance in the sales cycle
  • Communicate effectively with customers, presenting insights, opportunities, QBRs, and RFPs
  • Develop tailored reports to meet business needs and provide financial analysis to support corporate sales operational and customer activities
  • Engage in the development, improvement, and quality management of data sets through collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Utilize appropriate data management strategies, including privacy requirements
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Knowledge of mathematics, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, economics, and their applications

  • Knowledge of the principles and strategies for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including relative costs and benefits
  • Knowledge of the principles and strategies for showing, promoting, and selling services or products during the sales process
  • Skilled in identifying, collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating information, including transforming raw data into significant facts using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
  • Use of SQL to manage data and draw insights from large datasets
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
  • Skilled in analyzing the consequences of current data for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or strategies to problems
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex subjects and distilled insights to multiple audiences, bridging the gap between data and stakeholders
  • Ability to focus, understand, and communicate thoughts through writing, speaking with others, or presenting to a group
  • Ability to think independently, work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and pivot quickly to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to combine elements of data to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among apparently unrelated events)
  • Ability to independently transform raw data into clear and actionable insights, clearly communicate and influence others, execute strategies, and adapt for performance across multiple entities (companies, customers, industries, etc.)

Education and Experience

* Required: High School Diploma or GED

  • Intermediate-level experience, pro and specialized expertise in:

+ Sales analysis and the transportation industry + Solving ambiguous problems and developing a clear action plan + Working with large datasets + Independently translating raw data into actionable insights + Influencing stakeholders to drive change

* Ability to perform work duties from a limited space workstation/desk/office area for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to speak and engage with others in the English language to meet the needs of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the needs of the job

* Must hold a well-groomed appearance according to Company appearance requirements as defined in established guidelines

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as described by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to follow Company attendance requirements as defined in established guidelines
  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company data
