Job Description

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer – Web & Cloud Application Development at arenaflex, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data products and features in collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners. You will contribute to the overall architecture, frameworks, and standards for processing and evaluating big data, and you will work with engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented and technical best practices are defined and followed.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement data products and features in collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners

• Contribute to the overall architecture, frameworks, and standards for processing and evaluating big data
• Collaborate with engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented and technical best practices are defined and followed
• Build tools, user-defined functions, libraries, and frameworks to better enable data flow patterns
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis
• Work in teams to resolve operational and performance issues
• Participate in automated unit tests and integration tests
• Use and extend continuous integration and deployment frameworks

Essential Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems

• 2 years of experience in the offered position or a computer-related position
• Strong understanding of big data technologies, including Spark, Hive, Python, AWS, Apache Airflow, EMR, Data Bricks, Data Structures, Algorithms, Automated Unit Testing, CI/CD, Create Data Feeds, and Hadoop
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and Scala
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data engineering tools, including Apache Beam, Apache Flink, and Apache Spark

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
