Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity at arenaflex

Responsibilities:

* Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and other related matters.

• Process and input all customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Produce stock reports to check for product availability and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary.
• Provide follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met.
• Verify computer-generated invoices to ensure proper invoicing of accounts.
• Prepare shipping and tracing information to customers as required.
• Maintain damage records and back-order logs to ensure accurate tracking and resolution.
• Communicate customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
• Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files.
• Maintain a current and accurate procedure manual, detailing the processing requirements for each account.

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications.
• Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
• Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in varying facility conditions.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed.
