Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers, running the register, and cashiering with a smile
- Making purchase suggestions and working with our food program to provide a seamless shopping experience
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
- Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure our customers receive the service they deserve
- Interacting with customers daily, building strong relationships, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Working collaboratively with our team to achieve daily goals and maintain our high standards for store appearance and customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- A strong sales acumen, with the ability to make purchase suggestions and upsell/cross-sell products
- A quick and efficient pace, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- A positive and friendly attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong work ethic and motivation to advance in your career
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of sales techniques and customer behavior
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a growth mindset and a desire to take on new challenges
- A strong understanding of our products and services, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
Physical Requirements
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need to be able to:
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with the ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, with the ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift, with the ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands
- Climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs, with a strong sense of balance and coordination
