Job Summary

As a Lead Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading and mentoring our team members, and driving business growth through consultative selling and upselling. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide personalized solutions, and ensure that they receive the highest level of service. Your expertise will be essential in managing production flow, ensuring quality, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer experiences through friendly, polite, and expert service

  • Manage production flow to ensure all production orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Take customer orders, provide pricing information, and perform consultative selling to customers
  • Recommend FedEx Office products and services to customers and track and log all production jobs
  • Take lead responsibility for digital imaging, scheduling, and running black and white or color production on full-service orders
  • Set up complex orders and perform multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ensure quality during and after the production process
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members on an assigned shift
  • Assist in the training of store team members
  • Collate, sort, and organize customer orders
  • Operate the Point of Sale terminal (POS), handle financial transactions, and make change
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
  • Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adhere to legal, HR, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • Provide customer service by determining appropriate shipping methods, informing customers of company products, services, routes, and rates
  • Ensure quality customer service is given to customers by providing packaging services and offering information about company products and services
  • Offer assistance to customers by suggesting appropriate shipping methods and maintaining inventory of shipping supplies
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 2+ years of specialized experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction on a consistent basis
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure on a consistent basis
  • Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time on a consistent basis
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on a consistent basis
  • Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business

* Experience in a retail or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of FedEx Office products and services
  • Experience with consultative selling and upselling
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to team members
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and financial software
