As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Prior Authorization Operations team, working closely with our team to meet production volume goals and maintain high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Entering data from scanned and/or processed images into the data capture system with high accuracy and efficiency
- Meeting expected hourly production volume goals and maintaining quality levels above minimums set by management
- Increasing speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice
- Maintaining awareness of and actively participating in the Corporate Compliance Program
- Maintaining a neat and orderly workstation
- Assisting with other projects as assigned by management
- Being prompt and dependable (excellent attendance)
- Being comfortable working in a production environment
- Possessing excellent organization skills
- Demonstrating reliability of task completion and follow-up
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent data entry skills with a strong attention to detail
- Proficient typing skills (35wpm / 98% accuracy minimum)
- Basic math skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Previous experience in a data entry role
- Familiarity with data capture systems
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
