About the Team
Our strategic civilian sales team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are passionate about sales, customer service, and data analysis. As a Customer Administrative Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Sales Director and Team Lead to drive sales growth, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with our existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Administrative Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Making outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursuing sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers
- Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation
- Identifying and qualifying prospective customers as well as recording sales prospecting activity in Salesforce
- Representing an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories, if applicable
- Working with territory/account, product/services, or sales processes with limited complexity
- Informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices
- Maintaining communication with the Sales Director and Team Lead
- Maintaining a proficient understanding of Accurint and the ability to demonstrate platform and discuss pricing plans
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Basic functional knowledge and skills in selling and account management as well as the ability to deepen your knowledge of products and solutions
- Ability to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge to your work
- Ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing priorities and/or situations
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems
- Ability to present information in an appropriate style and make technical information clear
- Ability to persuade others/clients in standard situations
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

- Knowledge of government regulations and policies
- Experience working with data analytics and reporting tools
- Certification in sales or customer service (e.g. Salesforce Administrator)
