Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Order Management and Customer Service

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order management process. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry in SAP computer system (product numbers, sales orders, credits, etc.)
  • Review of sales paperwork for accuracy against customer contract and documentation
  • Process sales paperwork in computer system and per applicable procedures
  • Release new orders and change orders to manufacturing
  • Verify finished goods (stock) requests and move pending stock as needed
  • Maintain master tooling files
  • Process obsolete list as needed (at minimum twice per year)
  • Invoicing and filing sales documents
  • Prioritize and organize work-loads to meet deadlines
  • Answer phones and other miscellaneous duties as needed

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently process sales orders and data entry in SAP computer system

  • Review sales paperwork for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with customer contracts and documentation
  • Process sales paperwork in computer system and per applicable procedures, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Release new orders and change orders to manufacturing, ensuring seamless production and delivery
  • Verify finished goods (stock) requests and move pending stock as needed, maintaining accurate inventory levels
  • Maintain master tooling files, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records
  • Process obsolete list as needed, ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Invoicing and filing sales documents, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing
  • Prioritize and organize work-loads to meet deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective order management
  • Answer phones and other miscellaneous duties as needed, providing exceptional customer service and support

Qualifications

* Ability to read sales forms and input data into computer system with high accuracy and attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive and service-oriented focus
  • Basic Microsoft Office software experience, with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Resourceful and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in any situation
