Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for constructing data-driven insights, information perceptions, and multi-purpose reporting that provide critical support to the business and decision-making processes for our sign-up and trade item spaces. You will answer key business questions and provide expert knowledge on various trade streams on D and Hulu to enhance the customer experience and increase conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer key business questions and provide expert knowledge on various trade streams on D and Hulu to enhance the customer experience and increase conversions.
• Advance the analytical capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of demonstrative solutions, and deliver exceptional data experiences and products.
• Utilize data representation tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Apply statistical and inferential measures (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Component Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact across the organization.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)

• 5+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an information and analytics space with exceptional SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance enhancement, and working with data at scale.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end analysis projects: taking them from ambiguous requirements to a successful story, open across different audiences, and eventually to a tangible business outcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and technical partners.
• Ability to present to senior leadership.

Nice to Have

* Master's degree in a quantitative field

• Demonstrated data analysis skills with tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
• Knowledge of marketing landing pages, join pipe, and trade spaces
• Ability to identify and effectively communicate issues to leadership
• Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Awareness of what's funny
• Exceptional interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and tackle your work.
